Summary: How's this for product placement: RAID units
Harrison Ford plays a president with an extreme "get tough on terrorists" policy who happens to be flying home from Moscow when Air Force One is hijacked. The hijackers initially are extremely effective at what they do, but deteriorate over time. The stunts and explosions are great, as are the dogfights. Ford gives an exceptional performance, as expected. My favorite disks, MTI Gladiator arrays, were present in three racks, although why they would need a terabyte of data is beyond me. Only towards the end do the special effects start to fall off, but by then the audience has already given the movie several cheers and rounds of applause (people don't usually do this). |

Summary: Generic action movie
It's a generic action movie, with the obligatory stunts and effects. Don't bother if you're looking for something more, but if that's what you're in the mood for, it's as fine as any other. |

Summary: New rule: No Gary Oldman
I have seen more of enough of Gary Oldman for one lifetime. The guy seems to have a talent for finding really mediocre projects to get involved in. Air Force One fits right in with the bulk of his work - a fairly obvious plot with cardboard characters being puppeted through it by the whims of the scriptwriter. Harrison Ford has seen better days. Glenn Close has _definitely_ seen better days. As mindless fun, it's about a B effort. |

Summary: EXCELLENT MOVIE!
Oh my god, I love this movie! It like rulez! The FX are wicked and the whole storyline is awesome! Harrison Ford does a great job in this movie and I say it has to be his best movie yet! See it! It should be in the constitution to see it! |
