| X-Men suffers from having too many characters. On the evil side we have Magneto, Pyro, Juggernaut, Callisto, Quill, Mystique, Multiple Man, and more. On the good side we have Professor X, Cyclops, Wolverine, Storm, Colossus, Shadowcat, Rogue, Iceman, Angel, Beast, Moira McTaggart, and more. And of course, Phoenix. So, introduce all these characters, add even more characters, and make them fight! Whee. Side effects are mostly good, except that when Magneto drops the Golden Gate bridge on Alcatraz, there's nothing holding it together; it should have collapsed completely. And the bridge-moving sequence transforms from day to night almost instantly; equally instantly, X-Men's jet travels from New England to San Francisco. Huh? Oh well. Maybe next time they'll make a movie with fewer X-Men in it, and more story.
