| I dreaded seeing this movie after seeing the initial trailer for it. Thankfully, the final product was greatly improved. Still, I feel Alden Ehrenreich was poorly cast for Han Solo, he just didn't seem to have Harrison Ford's natural charisma. Donald Glover as Lando, on the other hand, absolutely nailed it and expanded the character, it was very impressive.
Seeing an early version of the Millennium Falco was very weird as well, with an extra nose piece that shouldn't be there. Also, the amount of damage near the end of the movie was ridiculous, it just didn't seem like it should still be flying.
Overall though the movie was fun. It should have been excellent, it really should have been better, but it was still a very fun movie. |
