The main plot is to find 3 hidden keys in a virtual reality game world, called 'easter eggs'. Okay, that's not the proper definition of easter eggs, but whatever. It's a really fun movie with lots of easter eggs and appearances from movies and videos games from the 1980s and other eras. Parts of the movie make little sense, such as the stacked mobile homes in Columbus, Ohio... but ignore that and never mind. The special effects and graphics are amazing. The movie stops short of an A+ due to weakening in the end; the dumb corporate boss is a bit *too* generic, and his henchman could have been explored further. It's just great to hear 80's music and see 80's references everywhere. Why are the 80s popular in 2045? who cares! |
