Summary: Over the top stunt scenes
James McAvoy is the totally unknown fresh face that provides the lead for this story. From there it's the typical awakening/inherited talent story used in various kung fu movies. Angelina Jolie plays the role of the mentor and Morgan Freeman the big boss. The wire fu is over the top, which can be expected. The curving bullet tricks and multi-mile sniper shots are beyond absurd. That and the coliding bullet trick is pulled off three times, also overdone. But the most ridiculous scene is the trainwreck, making a trainwreck of a trainwreck scene! Oh well, besides the ridiculousness, most of the action scenes are fun to watch, and I haven't seen a good car chase in a while.
