| Matthew McConaughey leads in this adventure that has him searching for a Civil-War area ironclad, supposedly filled with gold coins. His search leads him to Africa, where he encounters all sorts of troubles between warring tribes. He befriends a doctor (Cruz), just to give the movie a leading lady, is constantly running into trouble. The story is not as exciting nor as interesting as better examples of this genre, such as Indiana Jones, or even The Mummy. But still, it's a fun movie, and worth a look. |
