Summary: Clooney makes modern film noir
If you like film noir, serious film noir, you'll love this. The movie isn't near as dramatic or interesting as the trailer makes it out to be, though. All the scenes take place indoors, mostly in the radio studio. For those looking for some insight into Morrow's take on McCarthyism, you'll find little here except a brief history lesson. For those seeking a glimpse of what life was like in the 50's, well, great, you get a glimpse. The acting is good, but rather subdued, and Morrow's character sleepwalks through the whole film. I was hoping for more and didn't get it.
