Summary: Hunter shines amidst the blood & gore
Holly Hunter stars as an inspector in the SanFran Homicide department, investigating a serial killer who, it turns out, is haunting this professor who has done years and years of research into serial killers but now lives in fear of going outside after a bad experience with one a year ago. Anyhow Holly Hunter really steals the show with her perky, tough girl character that is a very smart investigator and experienced cop. It's an exciting film, but not very mysterious. Also, there are far too many bloody, gory shots of dead people in the film... as if the director's goal is to gross you out. Why bother?
