| Garry Shandling stars as a silly guy from a planet of men led by Ben Kingsley who is directed to invade Earth and impregnate a woman with his noisy vibrating penis. Annette Bening plays the victim that falls for him, and John Goodman plays the FAA inspector who has discovered that he is really an alien. (Garofalo has only a cameo appearance.) This movie is not at all up to Mike Nichols's standards; rather, it feels like a bad Garry Shandling special you'd see on HBO. There was some occasional T&A in the beginning but they abandoned that pretty quickly, and there weren't any full frontals anyway. So what's left to enjoy? | |
