Batman Forever

A fun and exciting film, as gothic and extravagant as the first Batman
movie.  Val Kilmer appears to do a better Batman than Michael Keaton, who
was just too stiff.  The appearance of Robin is a lot different than in
the comic books, but the story works pretty well overall.  The Riddler and
Two-Face are quite amusing bad guys, too.

Secrets of the Grand Canyon

This is a short IMAX picture that describes the history of the those who
discovered the Grand Canyon.  The photographic is top-rate, and the IMAX
gives the moving pictures a breath-taking effect.  The movie itself is
rather short though, only about a half-hour long.

A movie about a gorilla that can talk by using a computer interface, and
a hunt for secret special diamonds hidden in the jungle.  Oh, and more
gorillas.  It's not a bad movie, but it is about gorillas, and that almost
always keeps a movie from being excellent.

Judge Dredd

Sylvester Stallone plays Dredd in this nice movie adaptation of the comic
book.  It's very well done, with great special effects, sets, costumes,
and a decent script.  The only sad thing about the movie is the sound
editing... in several places the lip-sync is so bad that the audience
started laughing.
