Summary: Excellent action, adventure and origin story.
Usually, origin stories are dull because they rehash the same old stuff that's already been covered a bunch of times. It's been a long time since someone has tried to give a decent treatment to Wonder Woman, though. This story moves the tale to the first world war, along with Steve Trever, who is an American spy in this version. Chris gives a great performance, as does Gal Gadot. The movie is long at two and a half hours, partly because of the long origin story, but it goes by pretty quickly. One does have to overlook the lack of time it apparently takes to travel from Turkey to Themyscra to London to Germany. Overall though this movie was tons better than the Batman v Superman film.
