Summary: Time travel movie with weaknesses.
Bruce Willis isn't at his best here, but Joseph Gordon-Levitt does a good job playing a guy whose job as a mafia hatchet-man has him killing prisoners sent from the future. When their services are no longer required, their future selves are sent for execution. No idea why the loopers have to kill themselves instead of being killed by other loopers. Also the movie gets distracted with people suddenly developing TK skills, so it becomes a movie about that instead of about time travel. The end of movie doesn't wrap up plot lines cleanly, so you're left very uncertain if the hero has fixed the future or not. The kid that grows up to be a monster is a monster from the get-go, it seems unlikely he would ever change.
