Summary: An excellent Bond film.
Daniel Craig is excellent as Bond. He gives a superb performance, I think he's extremely well-cast. The film was action-packed, very exciting to watch. It's not a perfect film, as it had a couple flaws. One was the music; it wasn't up to par for Bond films. Another was the lack of a major organization as "bad guy". The story suffers from trying to be to true to the original book, I guess, which I hear was a bit on the dull side. Also, I miss Q; I hope they bring back the Q character in the next movie. But the rest of the movie really made up for these minor faults, and it's definitely a must-see. One of the best films of 2006. |

Summary: A good Bond movie
Daniel Craig makes a good Bond; what kept this movie from getting a higher grade was that at several points it was pretty obvious what was going to be coming. His fscking around with MI6 was quite amusing, however. |

Summary: a great action movie with Bond in it
This is just a great action movie, and it happens to have James Bond in it. The removal of the stupid asides and ridiculous gadgets, as well as many of the other worst elements of the Bond formula, was a fantastic relief and makes the movie significantly better than any recent Bond. The poker stuff goes on too long, but it hardly matters on the overall enjoyment factor. |

Summary: An excellent action movie
Just a flat out good action movie. No more invisible cars or other gadgets (well, the car was a /bit/ tricked out), but just great stunts, story, and a bad mama-jama for 007. The ending drags on a bit, but beyond that a very, very good movie. |
