Utterly bizarre movie. Kind of a cross between 'Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind' and 'memento'. "How am I not Myself?" The people involved did quite well in the movie, and there were some very amusing pieces to it. There were some 'ok they've gone off their rocker' moments too, but that was ok. Tomlin and Hoffman make a very oddly compatible duo. Overall I don't think I'll go out of my way to watch this again, but I won't turn it off either. |

This ended up being a very different movie than I expected. Think Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency crossed with a psychologist's office with just a dash of Fear & Loathing added in just to stir things up, and you'll be close. Once I got into it, I found it amusing and funny, but it took me a bit. |
