Summary: Very creepy near the end.
This movie starts out promising, but the action is quickly over the top, into ridiculous territory. Still a lot of fun, but not near the quality of Desperado. Johnny Depp steals the show with his mean CIA character, and the movie could have held it together, except that near the end the bad guys rip his eyes out (gross!) and he stumbles through the last act completely blind and bleeding from the eyes. Ick!

Mickey Rourke and Willem Dafoe play interesting supporting characters, while Blades and Marin are victims of drive-by directing. Enrique Iglesias also has a bit part as one of the other mariachis.
