Summary: An extended twilight zone episode.
Ironic that Forest Whitaker hosts Twilight Zone these days, and here he is in a key role in this movie. Kiefer does it best with voice acting, and Colin Farrell puts in a decent performance as well. Overall, it's a pretty good movie, but I'd say not enough meat to call it excellent. Hell, with some trimming and editing, this could have been a twilight zone episdoe, easily. Exciting stuff, tho'. |

Summary: Nice gimmick for a movie
Better than I thought it would be. Interesting bit of philosophizing about the disappearance of phone booths and of privacy in the US. Fortunately they don't run with the concept any longer than they need to to make a minimum-length movie, 80 minutes. |
