Summary: What a horrible script!
The threat of a writer's strike resulted in a bunch of projects rushed to production, many with really sub-par scripts. We've been suffering really crappy scripts for a year now... when will it end?!

Aside from the horrible story, the special effects are decent, and you can certainly tell Tim Burton's dark influences on the film. But all the talent in the movie is completely wasted. And it's a damn shame, because the cast is full of star quality actors. The movie is enjoyable as a joke, but that's about it.

Watching this movie felt like watching the pilot of a bad tv series that you could tell wasn't going to make it. What the hell were they thinking?
