Summary: Samurai vs. Ninja!
Christopher Lambert plays an unfortunate businessman who gets caught up in a feud between a samurai clan and a ninja clan. There's lots of really cool martial arts, scenes of Japan, and even spicy romance scenes. One of the best parts is a bloody battle that takes place on a bullet train. Lambert really just plays a pawn; he has no martial arts skill. However, because he is lucky and befriends a swordmaker, he happens to acquire just enough skill to get by. The real focus is on the heads of the clans, and the character development is enough that we begin to realize that both parties have evil parts to them.
