Summary: Talent gone to waste intermixed with car chases.
Cage and Duvall are excellent actors but they don't shine in this film. Angelina Jolie just looks totally fake here. Ribisi plays his usual, stereotypical loser, along with a gang of loser Gen-Y friends. It's all pretty sad. Somehow, they manage to "boost" (steal) a whole lot of cars, for an english madman that doesn't make a lot of sense as a bad guy. It's best to focus on the good parts of the film, which are the car chases, some of which are over the top in special effects, but even the chases pale in comparison to Blues Brothers or James Bond in a tank.
