Summary: Pretty fun, but not very true to the comic book.
This is the a silver screen treatment of the comic book. Almost the comic book come to life, but not quite, as the really difficult special effects scenes are done either with animation or panning shots of the comic book. It's the zany story of a crazy girl and a tank, a smart girl and a jet, kangaroo creatures, and the evil overlord of Water & Power, which passes for "government" in this post-apocalyptic science fantasy. The story's a bit stupid in places, as are the characterizations, but most of it is pretty fun.

Summary: Not bad. Schlocky.
Okay, not an Oscar contender. But it is mindless fun with a girl with a 'tude. I just like to watch her blow up things. :)
