Summary: Better than Die Hard 2, maybe not quite as good as Die Hard | |
This movie reinvigorated the 'Bruce Willis discovers something going wrong and runs around frantically trying to stop it' theme from the original Die Hard very well. The puzzles were a good touch; overall the movie was very strong, though it did weaken a bit the further they got from Manhattan. Rumor has it that this one was going to take place on a ship (to make a trilogy: land, sea and air) until Under Siege came out and basically did the same idea with Steven Seagal. Just as well, otherwise this movie wouldn't have had the touch it did. |
