Summary: This isn't wall street.
Giovanni Ribisi plays a whiny loser (again!) who joins a shady brokerage firm out on Long Island. These brokers aren't at all realistic, and who ever wrote this has no idea what real brokers are like. In the movie, the brokers are gambling all the time; in real-life, brokers never gamble, they are completely risk-averse. But anyway it goes through his story of being recruited, learning the ropes, becoming a good salesman, and is intermixed with lots of goofy "lingo". The supporting cast, especially Vin Diesel and Ben Affleck, give amazing performances. Unfortunately the details get in the way, and Ribisi's performance is simply tedious.

Summary: i thought of xibo
Terrible cinematography but otherwise semi-good movie about trying to take a shortcut to success. I don't pretend to know the ins and outs of the financial world, but at least anybody who sees this will understand high-pressure tactics from salesmen.
