Summary: A little better than expected.
Thanks to the fine acting of Cuba Gooding Jr., and the decent effort by newcomer Skeet Ulrich, this film was quite alright. I wasn't expecting a really good film, but they pulled it together and did a fine job. Basically, these two guys play goofs who get involved in carrying an experimental extremely-high explosive bucket of chemicals across the desert. If the temperature goes above 50 degrees, everything within several kilometers will be destroyed. And of course, you have bad guys who want to steal the stuff for their own purposes (basically to sell it to the highest terrorist bidder).
