Summary: Better than the cartoon series.
Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones play comical secret agents of a very secret government organization that monitors alien activity on Earth. Smith is recently recruited to replace another agent who retired. He's a bit reluctant and disbelieving at first at how incredible the whole thing is, which is understandable. The movie is quite enjoyable, and short. In fact, one gets the feeling that the movie was compressed and edited down to 95 minutes in order to maintain a high density of fun. However, I felt that it could have been longer, as some parts may have been missing. Still, the bulk of it is there, and the lead actors play off each other extremely well.

Summary: Great!!
Wonderful movie for those interested in the supernatural, it gets you thinking while making you laugh. Tommy lee adn Will smith work wonders together. Frank the dog, coolest and cutest little alien, but the best part is the when the lady had her baby, a little gross, but hey it could happen!

Summary: Fun sci-fi comedy
Take a world where everything you read in the Weekly World News is true. Put Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones in it as agents of a super-secret government agency that manages alien activity on earth. Add some appropriately cartoonish special effects and a story about saving the world. What you end up with is a fluffy melange of humor and action, which I suspect will become a long, tiresome series of bad films in years to come. The original, though, is certainly worth devoting an hour and a half to.

Summary: Better than most sci-fi comedies
Most sci-fi comedies spend most of their time making horrible jokes. This one has its share but is generally amusing most of the time. It seems to spend most of its time setting the world up, doubtless for the sequels to follow.
