Summary: A goofy and fun story about the gay lifestyle.
A feel-good date movie for the 90's, this is the comedic story about a schoolteacher who is "outed" by one of his former students, during the Oscars. Unfortunately, he was not aware that he was gay, and was, in fact, scheduled to be married in three days. Tom Selleck co-stars as the gay reporter covering the story. A cute, fun film that reduces a complex "adult theme" topic into an everyday one.

Summary: A gay movie without AIDS
It's nice to see a movie with gay themes that isn't all about AIDS. It's nice to see a comedy with gay themes that's actually funny. It's nice to see Kevin Kline dancing around like an idiot to disco music. It's nice to see Tom Selleck playing a queer. It's nice to see Joan Cusack. It's exceptionally nice to see Bob Newhart, who has to be one of the funniest people alive today. It's a nice, funny movie.
