Summary: WINONAUUUGH!!
Sigourney Weaver's DNA, poisoned with the Alien she was carrying, is used to clone a new copy of her-- and the alien. It is now three hundred years later, and all the technology is more or less the same, with the exception of one hand grenade. Winona Ryder stars as the pretty face, and of course we get our usual collection of tough guys. The movie is very action-packed and has plenty of really gross and bizarre images. The plot, however, is fairly linear and predictable, which doesn't make for a lot of interest. The special effects were decent, though.

Summary: It's not Alien
It's not Aliens. It isn't even Alien 3. It's a different kind of film, one that goes for the wisecrack over the dark brooding corridors of Alien, the blaring gunfire of Aliens, or the whatever the hell they had in Alien 3. The bad guy from The Crow shows up and gets killed. Carla's husband from Cheers shows up and gets killed. Pretty much everyone shows up and gets killed, and there's aliens running around, and some really stupid thing about a hybrid. It's a decent effort at extending an overextended franchise.

Summary:
The best thing about Alien was placing horror in space. The best thing about Aliens was placing war in space. The worst thing about Alien 4 is trying to create a pithy statement like that about the movie. Is it horror? Comedy? Action? None of the above? Perhaps Sigourney Weaver should agitate for a sequel to Working Girl instead. At least it would give Melanie Griffith a real job.

Summary:
I liked it. Actually, it was okay. The only real selling point was the gore, which I must say looked good. The storyline was repetitive and taken from the other 3 movies... it is getting pretty old.\ I give it a B for is special effects.

Summary: OK
strange movie... not focusing on Chlostrophobia (err) like ALien , Not focusing on Paranoia like Alien 3, and doesnt feel anything like Aliens... what genre... what the hell is going on here... Weaver comes bak 2 life as a clone? yer nice storyline.. who the hell is this? winona Ryder.. this isnt a love movie.. or is it? who can tell.. no new ideas, and this movie has turned alien into the usual horror chasing the nice human, and killing them one by one idea.. how original... bring on Alien 5, and lets see hwo much that has improved.. maybe they will reincarnate the Alien that got sucked out of the garbage hole.. Oh and also, kicking giger of the special effects team was not the right move at all, his dolls look a million times better than the special effects of 1997..

Summary: This is one of the best movies I've ever seen
I love the whole alien series, they're comming out with a Aliens wersus predator movie and I will kill to get into it on the first day. The movie was made up or parts from Aliens and Alien 3, It was one of the best movies I've ever seen.I didn't really like the half human half alien thing, it was not like any of the movies I've seen, and did not set in with the rest of the movie either. I have grown up with the alien series, when i was 5 my aunt made me watch aliens. I fell in love with it, it scared me shitless but I loved it. I have a been a faithful fan of the series. My room is covered with alien pictures, posters and magazine cliipings. Along with others but hey. I gave it an A- because it is simply one of the best in the series. And I must say so myself Winona was pretty hot.

Summary: Lots and lots of explosive gore and not much else
Sorely disappointed. I love me the Aliens, but this one was a sign of the franchise reaching a bit. This one is has the action, but lacks the solid script of the other three (well, the first two for sure..) and just kinda rambles along shooting stuff and blasting aliens into gooey messes. No doubt about it though, Winona Ryder is the (er.. one of the) creepy/cute girl of my dreams.
