The Code Nate Penn and Lawrence LaRose 1996 Fireside B This is a harsh, gritty book about the "proper" way to treat women, in order to get from them the things that you want. Cynics will say that this book is extremely negative and demeaning in tone, but I think that women do a lot of negative and demeaning things to men (cf. The Rules) so it's only fair that a book like this exists. This book did not change my life or make things a whole lot better for me, but it did explain, to some extent, Why Chicks Dig Jerks, and how to take advantage of this, if I ever develop the fortitude necessary to be a jerk. This book is also very important to have because it exposes jerks' techniques, and these will become completely transparent to you after reading the book. However, this may also make you even more depressed as you watch jerks succeed with these techniques.
