Best Lessons of a Chess Coach Sunil Weeramantry and Ed Eusebi 1993 McKay B- This book is composed of ten chapters, each of which teaches a specific lesson and various secondary lessons. Each chapter is based around a chess game, with moves described in detail, and discussion about the various alternative choices possible throughout the game. Overall, this method was very effective, and I was happy not to find any typos in the book, unlike many other books. Each chapter also includes a few exercises, which are useful. Also, at the end of each chapter are a few "Supplementary Games" which are supposed to be illustrative of the ideas presented in the chapter. Unfortunately these games are poorly documented (if at all), and sometimes the moves don't make sense; was the move an error, or was there something non-obvious behind it? But overall this was a pretty good book.
